Had been fancying fish and chips for months but the cost is prohivative as the last time I bought 2 x 2 small cod and 1 small fish it was over £17 and loads of waste. However, as myself and my son can't eat huge amounts, I ordered a kids fish and chips and a kids fish. Divided between the 2 of us, there was plenty of food and was absolutely amazing. I got my fix of the batter I'd craved and for £11.50 with 2 free drinks, was the best. Anything larger would have been gluttony and a waste.

I ordered medium cod, chips and gravy via Deliveroo and thankfully it arrived piping hot. The fish had a thick crispy batter and was tasty, chips were fresh and the gravy had a nice thickness to it and a dash of black pepper perhaps? Chippies can often struggle with being consistent so, maybe I struck it lucky on this occasion, but it was a 5 star meal and that's all there is to it!

Tried this fish and chips shop for the first time via Ubereats. Prompt delivery, cod cooked just right, still moist with a light non greasy crispy batter. Large chips between 2 more than enough, good size ,crispy on the outside and fluffy in the middle, good bap with a quality chicken burger. Will use again. Nice and hot.

Not my usual Chippy. But as I was at G/Hollands i thought i would give it a try. Bit apprehensive looking at the reviews. To be honest I found it very good. My cod was very chunky nice chunky flakes batter was nice and golden crunchy and chips were huge and plentiful. Left me full. Yeh. Very nice i would use it again if I'm in the area

Absolutely great fish and chips! Lived just down the road for 4 years and always come here for fish and chips. Chips are nicely cooked, battered sausages are perfect and the fish is great too. Very clean! Ohhh and chips still wrapped in paper if you prefer that.
